Manager & Staff at Martha's Restaurant
We spent the night at the "Touch Of Class Inn". It was quite nice and clean, and very comfortable we even had AC rooms, well those of us on the 1st floor anyways. Our driver and Dj upstairs had neither AC nor fan, needless to say, they punished. Each room had two beds, neatly spread with clean white towels and our own mini soap. In the evening we got to hang out at the hotels outdoors lounge, had some beers and even sang Karaoke, that was pretty kool!.
On Friday morning before our departure we went to "Martha's Guest House" for breakfast, and dang! What a breakfast it was. I ordered the first thing on the menu, "The Martha's Special". I got some fry jacks, bacon, refried beans, cheese, butter, banana cake, a slice of orange, a cup of coffee, and two large glasses of pineapple juice. The rest of our crew had their choice, but what we all got was total satisfaction, the food was great. Their juice had the taste of real fruits, the banana cake was obviously made with lots of love and their fry jacks were soft and tasty. Some said it's the best breakfast they ever had. I have probably had better but can’t remember when or where. With food that good, you would never expect that the service could compare, but it did.
It was service with a smile all the way, what started out as a courteous and friendly waitress ended with Martha herself coming out to greet us. Now is that VIP service or what?
In closing all we can say is if you in Cayo and you would like the illusion of home from the service to the cooking and everything in between you have to make Martha's Guest House a must stop along the way. Just tell Martha Vibz TV sent you. Official Website for Martha's
